I think as we get older we do a lot of looking back, nostalgia is sought after for a reason after all. Being popular does not mean best though, and hopefully, after this, you will have a newfound respect for Red Swan by Yoshiki featuring Hyde. Which is fine, you can like what you like. Carve out with your own hands a path to the future “It was a pointless death.” I won’t let you say that… Till we’re down to the last … If your looking for a song that embodies hope and determination, any of the other openings have more specific lyrics, like Jiyuu no Tsubasa's It's so vague you can read anything into it, making it seem like it's saying a lot when it's really saying nothing related to SnK. ![]() Written and produced by Yoshiki, it is the opening theme song of the first 12 episodes of the third season of the Attack on Titan anime series. The lyrics themselves seem to be about a female angel dying (or facing death). ' Red Swan ' is a song by Japanese musician Yoshiki, featuring vocals by Hyde. I feel like Hyde was a poor choice of singer and that Yoshiki can write better music, and especially better lyrics! Talking purely about the song, I've always felt a bit disappointed by it.
